Madonna Thursday-Rabbit Leopold

Ah, the mid-Seventies! Was this really Classic Rock!? I Beg to Differ! An absolutely dreadful, boring and horrible time in rock & roll.  1973, 1974 and 1975.  Still there were some gems during this period among them.  The Four Classic Rock Songs I Heard today were Tush by ZZ Top, The Joker by Steve Miller,
Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Bitch Is Back by Elton John.  All pleasant enough
boogie rock but nothing too dangerous, memorable or exciting! No wonder punk rock had to happen.  It couldn't come soon or fast enough-To that period, I say good riddance!

Madonna Song of the Day-Secret Garden from Erotica-Lyric quote from Lady Ciccone/Peron/Simpson
-"That's why I'm still looking/For a petal that isn't torn/A heart that will not harden/A place that I can be born/It's in my Secret Garden..."-Think of First Freakout/Erotica as Madonna's Through the Wilderness period where she was desperately searching for herself in the terrible scandal of the Sex book.  Desperately trying to be a mother with Lola, Rocco, David and Mercy-And Inside, All Still Wet with Sad Tears Streaming Down Her Face, Madonna Dared to Face Her Moment of Truth by Sheer Force of Will Determination and Grace Too.
