Madonna Song of the Day-Material Girl from The Immaculate Collection-Lyric quote from Lady Ciccone/Peron/Simpson via outside writers Peter Brown and Robert Rans-"We are living in a material world/And I am a Material Girl!"-It's Miss Ciccone's world. We are happy to live in it. Still, Material Girl isn't one of my Maddy faves. Even Madonna herself doesn't like this song and it ain't hard to hear why. Rikky Rooksby quipped-"We're with you on that one, Maddy!"
