My Birthday-A Week After-Rabbit Leopold

Life's been good to me!-I can't complain! The Four Classic Rock Songs I Heard today were Give a Little Bit
by Supertramp, Cities on Flame with Rock & Roll by Blue Oyster Cult, Life's Been Good by Joe Walsh
and Photograph by Def Leppard.  Madonna comes storming back with MDNA! Confrontational one minute, tearful the next, MDNA is Madonna's best and saddest record yet! Another chapter in a brilliant life, MDNA has parallels with Erotica-Her First Freakout and American Life-Her Second Freakout.  Welcome to MDNA
-Her Third Freakout.  30 years on, Madonna is still the  best and on top! Madge, you rock!

Madonna Song of the Day-Frozen from Greatest Hits Volume 2
-Lyric quote from Lady Ciccone/Peron/Simpson-"You're Frozen When Your Heart's Not Open!...If I Could Melt Your Heart..."-One of Madonna's Saddest Ballads Ever, Frozen has the power to open our hearts.  Dedicated to brilliant author/novelist Michael Onaatje.

Target Wednesday-Rabbit Leopold

Welcome to the Working Week-as a Brit named Elvis once wrot way back in 77! Funny How Time Flies! The Four Classic Rock Songs I Heard today were Fool in the Rain by Led Zeppelin,
Those Shoes by the Eagles, Pride and Joy by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Centerfield by John Fogerty.  For the Orioles, it's time to win at Camden Yards and end the losing.  From baseball, we turn to Hockey where the Caps lost again at home last night.  If things don't improve, the Caps are not gonna make the playoffs! As the late great NBC Peacock sportscaster said on Channel 4-"This is not Caps Hockey!"
-Boy do I remember that!

Madonna Song of the Day-Gone from Music-Lyric quote from Lady Ciccone/Peron/Simpson
-"Selling ou is not my thing!...Turn to stone/Lose my faith/I'll be gone/Before it happens! Yes! Gone is one of the saddest ballads Madonna has ever recorded.  The woman is gloriously and defiantly unrepentant-think of the new record MDNA that way! Lady Madonna is Sad and Fierce!

Tuesday's Gone-Rabbit Leopold

Come on Wizards! Y'All have really let me down again! You never listen to Randy the coach in what he's trying to instill in y'all! Very rude and unprofessional! Y'All can do better than that! Terrible game! The Four
Classic Rock Songs I Heard today were I Need a Lover by John Mellencamp, Legs by ZZ Top,
Take It to the Limit by the Eagles and Cold as Ice by Foreigner.  Just a normal day!

Madonna Song of the Day-Nothing Really Matters from Ray of Light
-Lyric quote from Lady Ciccone/Peron/Simpson-"Nothing Really Matters/Love is all we need/Everything I give you/All comes back to me!"-A brilliant Beatlesque rocker about life and love, Madonna once again breaks down the wall between artist and audience.  A beautiful song by Lady Ciccone!

Birthday Catharsis-Rabbit Leopold

The Four Classic Rock Songs I Heard today were Sunday Bloody Sunday by U2, Honky Tonk Women
by the Rolling Stones, Fly Like an Eagle by Steve Miller and Bloody Well Right by Supertramp. Watched Shine a Light-after movie was over, I became a Stones fan for life! The gala was brilliant! Danced with Rosie and Allie! Jeff's dad Al said the Wizards beat Cleveland 101-98.  Jordan Crawford had 31 points.  That's a wrap for now!

Madonna Song of the Day-On the Balcony of the Casa Rosada from Evita-Lyric quote from
Lady Ciccone/Peron/Simpson-"Just listen to that!/The voice of Argentina!/We are adored, we are loved!..."-That she certainly is! Madonna will be adored and loved for a long, long time-Perhaps Forever!

This post is for you, Allie! I Love You!-Rabbit Leopold!

Target Saturday-Rabbit Leopold

The day after my birthday, my sister Nicole sent me a new book on Madonna called The Illustrated Biography.  Great book, Nicole! Thanks! The Four Classic Rock Songs I Heard today were I Don't Care Anymore
by Phil Collins, Dream On by Aerosmith, Those Shoes by the Eagles and Goodbye Stranger by Supertramp.  Just saw Shine a Light, a movie by the Rolling Stones and Martin Scorsese.  Martin Scorsese is my favorite director in Hollywood! My favorite Stones songs are as follows-Start Me Up, Brown Sugar and Satisfaction.
Hail Hail the Rolling Stones!

Madonna Song of the Day-Buenos Aires from Evita-Lyric quote from Lady Ciccone/Peron/Simpson
-"What's new, Buenos Aires?...Beautiful town/I love you!...Just a little touch of star quality!"-One of the many highlights of Evita, this is one of many Madonna Masterpieces of the brilliant Miss Ciccone! Hail Madonna!

My Birthday!-Rabbit Leopold

To quote Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, I am Hymn 43! Funny How Time Flies.  My birthday setlist-The Four Classic Rock Songs I Heard today were Boulevard by Jackson Browne, Owner of a Lonely Heart by Yes,
The Long Run by the Eagles and Flirtin' with Disaster by Molly Hatchet.  I'm Still Young at Heart but there's still much more to know.  To quote Madonna, I guess I'll Die Another Day, it's not my time to go! No sir!
Madonna Song of the Day-Live to Tell from Something to Remember
-Lyric quote from Lady Ciccone/Peron/Simpson-"I have a tale to tell!/Sometimes it gets so hard to hide it well!/I was not ready for the fall!/Too blind to see the writing on the wall!...I know where beauty lives/I've seen it once!/I know the warmth she gives!/The light that you could never see!/It shines inside!/You can't take that from me!...If I ran away/I'd never have the strength to go very far/And how would they hear the beating of my heart?/Will it grow cold?/The secret that I hide?/How will they hear?/When will they learn/And how will they know?/A man can tell a thousand lies!/I've learned my lesson well!/Hope I live to tell/The secret I have learned/Till then, it will burn inside of me!/The truth is never far behind!/You kept it hidden well!/If I live to tell/The secret I knew then/Will I ever have the chance again?"-Don't be afraid Madonna! You've got friends in high places!

First Day of Spring-Happy Rabbit March! The Four Classic Rock Songs I Heard today were
Peaceful Easy Feeling by the Eagles, So Far Away by Dire Straits, Train Train by Blackfoot
and Don't Look Back by Boston.  To paraphrase the Hooters song I'm Alive-I'm older now but I'm feeling younger that I ever did!-My birthday is tomorrow.  Happy birthday to Bunny Rabbit!

Madonna Song of the Day-Forbidden Love (94/Bedtime version)-from Bedtime Stories-Lyric quote from
Lady Ciccone/Peron/Simpson-"I don't care if it's not right to have your arms around me!...In your eyes/Forbidden Love/In your smile/Forbidden Love/In your kiss/Forbidden Love/If I had one wish/Love would feel like This!...Heaven forgive me/Never forbid me/Love should always feel like This!"-Another great ballad by Michigan's Royal Queen Poet-Her Name Is Madonna!
